Young Ambassadors of Culture Guide Handbook

Raising young individuals who are proficient in arts, culture, tourism, and promotion, and possess a strong connection of new approaches and practices in the field of publicity by developing 21st-century skills that enable effective communication and representation of Turkey’s cultural, natural, and technological heritage should be a top priority for Turkey. The project entitled Young Ambassadors of Culture was developed based on this need. It aims to promote awareness of the cultural industry and present contemporary approaches through holistic methods and techniques. By doing so, it enables tourist guide candidates to develop the ability to collect, record, organize and present information relevant to their respective fields, as well as effectively use various information sources within society. The project aims to foster awareness among young guide candidates about the preservation and sustainability of cultural assets in addition to their university education. This includes acquainting them with museums and collections and equipping them with the skills to effectively introduce these elements using diverse methods and techniques.
