The meeting entitled “Market and Product Diversification Problems in Cappadocia Tourism” that was organized by the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Cappadocia University, revealed the that the main obstacles preventing the establishment of cooperation between academia  and industry are poor level of communication between the parties, the lack of mutual trust and the application of inappropriate methods. We know that the relevant ministry conducts  detailed studies on this issue. Based on the assumption that cooperation can no longer be achieved institutionally, it would be preferable to establish economic partnership-based tourism consultancy and research companies between the parties in the technoparks of universities. Businesses seeking to ensure sustainability in the long term will resort to the purchase of national and international services from such private-sector companies.

After graduating from the Department of Public Administration of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Gazi University, Dündar completed his master’s studies in the Faculty of Political Sciences of Ankara University. He is currently continuing his doctorate studies in the same department and is working as a research assistant in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Cappadocia University, while also working as an editor and translator.
